I had a visit today from my Mum, Dad and my nephew Ben. Now my nephew is no ordinary nephew, he loves to eat shoes, plants, cotton wool and wall paper paste. Ben is my brothers 6 month old black lab puppy. He is handsome but so much work! below is a picture of him 3 months ago and yesterday! they grow up so fast..sigh!

I have lost 5.5lbs yay! We had a weigh in in work. I do think its probably all the tottering about on crutches that has caused all this loss. They are also a good cure for bingo wings!

15th January 2005 (Sat)
I am losing the will to live today. I cannot leave my flat as there are stairs and its too much hassle, and I cannot stuff my face as I am determined to stick to WW. This morning I have been glued to MTV and pimp my ride! This is such a cool program.

13th January 2005 (Thur)
I had a little accident today! I fell and dislocated my patella and fractured a piece of my tibia. I have to be in plaster for 4 wks! so I am going to have such a sucky birthday! They had to give me gas and air to move me...that was quite an experience it was like drinking an infinite amount of smirnoff. I had a choice of 8 different colours for my plaster, so I chose purple. My cast weighs 7lbs so I have gained 7lbs!

Most Sadly I really should not drink any alcohol as they have given me some pretty trippy anti-inflammatory tablets! So that's a sober 4 weeks!

I had a day off today, I have discovered a fantastic band today called The Old Crow Medicine Show. They are an old fashioned Bluegrass/Country band ( I swear I am morphing into my dad in my old age! ) Their song Wagon Wheel is a proper foot stomping country anthem!

Feel I am properly back to work now. I smugly sat amongst my colleagues with my wholemeal beef pitta bread.
I bought a fantastic film today called ELF. It stars Will Ferrel who stars as a 6ft 3 Elf!
Does it get any funnier than that!

Another film that everyone should watch is Mannequin which is in my 80's film section and it has Andrew McCarthy in it! ( he is so lovely ) it is on Paramount Comedy at 10.30pm on Sunday the 16th of January.

I would like to thank the gods that be..and not because its a Sunday but because somebody out there invented GHD straightners My hair usually resembles a ginger Wurzel Gummage. But with the GHD straightners my locks are transformed into sleek bint tresses! I also found a fab mat to stop the hair tool of heaven from scorching a hole into your shag pile! ( so not a good look for your boudoir bints).

Yay its 1 month until my birthday! I have spent this day, not drinking ( how strange! ) And tidying my wardrobe. I was ruthless! I felt like Trinny and Suzannah rolled into one evil wardrobe wench. I have managed to fill a black bag with fashion disasters to take down to Tenovus. ( Welsh Charidee shop )

What I did not say on the 1st, was that I started my new years resolutions! ( I did not say it on the 1st as I have such little faith in my resolve, that I have barely believed I have lasted a week ) My new years resolutions are...

1) To have an azz like Kylie
2) To grow my nails to a reasonable length ( so my hands don't look like a boys )
3) To do more "activities" ( not dancing in a club )
4) To take better care of my skin..time stands still for no bint.
5) To keep my pink wardrobe tidier ( yes its pink with fairy lights )

Now the hardest part of this plan is to reduce my J-Lo proportioned azz to the size of Kylie's. This will be difficult as I love to eat! But I have stuck to it for the last 6 days and I am mightily impressed with myself. I have been using Weightwatchers on line. This is a fantastic method as it allows me to still eat cake and quaff Vodka like water!
I have so far lost 4lbs. If anyone wants to join me on my quest for true babedom check out www.weightwatchers.co.uk

Last year I got down to 9st 7lb (see below) and I am determined to better that this time.

Greetings Bint fans!
I have been to see a fabulous film in the UCG cinema in cardiff with my fellow bints.
The film in question was Garden state which was directed and written by the very talented Zach Braff ( JD from Scrubs ) I won't spoil the story but it is one of the most thought provoking/funny films I have seen in ages! And it has a fantastic soundtrack. Either go and see this or buy it on DVD when it comes out. click here for the Garden State website

Hello and welcome to DizzyBint. for those of you who know me, congratulations for knowing the funnest person in the world. For those of you who don't know me this will allow you a bit of insight into my scatterbrained world!

I am 26 years of age and I live in South Wales, with my sidekick Mike. I will be 27 in February and I plan to grow old disgracefully.

I love movies, rock and indie music, clothes, shoes, Andrew McCarthy, vodka and food! I hate smoking, full fat coke, sprouts and peas!

Last night was a bit of a crazy night we celebrated new years eve in Trefforest. We went to a funky little pub known locally as "The Pick" Mike got a little trashed.

And I felt it necessary to sing Mulder and Scully in my dulcet Welsh overtones on the "Karaoke.. butty".

On the 26th of December a Tsunami affected Thailand, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and many other companies. If you are feeling charitable bints feel free to donate money to the red cross. Its going to a good cause I promise... Click Here to Donate to Red Cross
